“Broken Trust” is some of the best new music, written by The Wentzel Brothers Band, that talks about the family members and good friends that find ways to take advantage of one’s kindness. This song is track 7 off of the album In the Shadow of the Mountain and has a distinct sound from the rest of the album. It draws strongly from americana rock influences and can be seen as a contrast to the heavier style of the rest of the album.
